Construction of a biological swimming pool
A swimming pool requires a major sector at least of 150 cm to 220 cm with the vertical walls. The whole must be waterproofed by means of a rubber covering with a liner.
The sector of swimming will have to be of minimum 25 square meters for a minimal total surface of 50 square meters. The internal walls should be built out of ecological materials as far as possible like the re-used plastic, the stone, the timber structural or the bags geotextile. As they will act as a structure of reserve for the material and the plants in the zone of regeneration, they will have to be carefully manufactured. The walls are usually covered and should finish 10 cm below the surface of water to maintain the effect visual of a swimming pool. In the best of the cases covering should be placed behind the wall (but in certain cases it passes over the wall) and to make sure that it is hidden and protected.
Water arrives by the substrate in the zone of regeneration and by the drain ordered by the pump. Water is also taken via the skimmer external with the pump where it is again filtered before the reference at the bottom of the zone of swimming. The zone of regeneration must be same size as the area of swimming and to have a minimal depth of 30 cm aggregate.
