The origins of the biological swimming pool

The original concept of the biological swimming pool was developed in Austria by a certain number of people, who were very conscious of the benefits in the event of disease of bathing in natural water of the thermal spas. It only in 1985 that the idea was commercially developed by an Austrian company, is not called Biotop, by the founder Peter Petrich who conceived the idea of a biosystème of cleaning for the ponds of swimming.

Those were supported per many European owners and also became very popular in the hotels and the resources. Biotop was followed of Bionova of to Germany, which projected and built the first public swimming pool in 1998, with a considerable success. Biotop and Bionova were followed of Bioteich to Switzerland and for this period, other companies undertook the construction and marketing of the natural swimming pools.

More than 1000 swimming pools were now built in Austria, in Germany and Switzerland by much of contractors. Each one has something of single to offer, but all are variations of the same topic.
